Orphée
Project
Description
A little bit of mythology!
Orpheus was the son of Apollo and the muse Calliope. He had an inexplicable gift for music. With his melodies he was able to charm anyone, men, animals. And even plants, trees and rocks moved to the song of his lyre. Even the most atrocious or insensitive being could not resist the charms of his melodies.
As you might guess, Orphée is the French translation of Orpheus, which explains the name of the project.

Now imagine...
You are someone who makes music on a daily basis and you travel a lot! You already have some music applications which let you create a track, but none of those apps can export what you have created into a workable file on computer. So you lose a ton of time reproducing the exact same track on your computer software...
So imagine again, if you could have this kind of powerful app to enhance your workflow!

So what's the problem?
Well, the main problem here is that music producers can't convert the track created from their music application to their main computer's software, so they would be able to keep working on it. So I needed to figure out what functionnalities they would love to have!

And who is our user?
The user is a professional music producer who is making music for a living. He is a tech-addict, always looking for some application to improve his way of life. He is also someone dedicated to his work, someone really passionate and straight-forward.
He is therefore looking for a functional music application which permits him to be the most efficient possible when he is working on his productions.

Logo design process
I imagined that the letter "P" of "Orphée" could be transformed into a musical note. So I kind of designed a "musical P letter" according to the brand identity.
Concerning the font type, I wanted something refreshing and easy to read in order to transmit the ease of use of the app. The font I used is "Hobo Std Medium"
